Paula DeStefanis Christensen holds a BFA degree from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Majoring in Illustration with a minor in Graphic Design. She went on to do graduate course-work in printmaking from the Museum School in Boston.

Paula has been an active participant in the education department with the Milwaukee Art Museum for 10 years. She has taught privately as well as at the Wustum Art Museum, the West Bend Art Museum and at MIAD.

She sells her wearable art throughout the midwest at art fairs year round. Her Fine Art can be viewed throughout the Midwest at fine galleries. Paula brought the visual arts from her studio to North Shore Academy of the Arts from inception. She is the Secretary of the Board, the Executive Programming Administrator and Facility Director for North Shore Academy of the Arts. She has been commissioned to do both private and public installations.
